He founded Aztek Studio Films in 2009 with the purpose of producing his own films and the films of other filmmakers.

 

 

He dreams of establishing Aztek Studio Films as an independent force to be reckoned with in the industry someday, a pursuit influenced by George Lucas and Robert Rodriguez.

Adrian Nava is a 25 year old Mexican-American filmmaker from the San Francisco Bay Area. He took a leap of faith to pursue his passion and has not looked back since.

 

His short film debut, La Vida Loca, based on his own life, won top honors - Best of Festival and Audience Award - at Diablo Valley College’s 6th Aspiring Minds Film Festival 2012 in Pleasant Hill, CA and was an official selection for the 2012 San Francisco Latino Film Festival.

 

Since then, he has followed up with the short films Ruthless, Threat to Society, and Take Five along with work on other filmmakers’ films.

An established jack of all trades including acting, writing,directing, producing, editing, scoring and more, with extensive short film experience under his belt and countless credits to his name;

 

Adrian has landed his first industry job as the 1st Assistant Director on Hollywood actor David Fernandez Jr.’s directorial debut, A Father’s Journey, starring Fernandez, comedian Joey Medina (Original Latin Kings of Comedy, Zombie Strippers!), Lou Pizarro (creator and star of the hit truTV show Operation Repo), and a talented cast of emerging actors.
